INGREDIENTS: Crust: 2 1/2 cups whole wheat/white flour mix 1 cup warm water 1 tbsp yeast 1 tsp sugar 1 tbsp olive oil Toppings: 1 can pizza sauce (15 oz) 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1 lbs ground beef, browned and drained Mushrooms, sliced 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded Suggested four cheese pizza: Parmesan, Cheddar, Provolone, Mozzarella DIRECTIONS: Making the crust: In medium size bowl add warm water and yeast; stir to dissolve. Add sugar and olive oil and give it a stir. Add flour and stir into a soft dough. Add water or flour as needed. Cover and let rise at least 5 minutes. Makes 1-15" pizza and 1-12" pizza. Building the Pizza Spread prepared pizza dough onto pans (grease if necessary). Top with pizza sauce and sprinkle on Parmesan cheese. Layer mushrooms then crumble ground beef over both pizzas if desired or the large pizza will hold it all. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425degree for 15 minutes in a metal pan or at 350degree for 20-25 minutes on a stone pan. This is the pizza we make each weekend (a family tradition held over from my childhood).
